Normal Optical Cables
GYFT(Z)Y (non-metallic stranded Loose Tube Cable)
The fibres are postioned in a loose tube made of PBT. The tube is flled with a water-resistant filing compound. A fibre reinforce plastic locates inthe center of core as a non-metallic strength member. The tubes(and thefilers)are stranded around the strength member into a compact andcircular core. After the cable core isfilled with the filing compound to protec it from water ingress. The cable is completed with a PE sheath.
